Leopards International Shipping: Services, Rates, Tracking and Customs

Leopards Courier ships documents and parcels from Pakistan to what its website calls “over 2,000 global destinations”, through three main services: Express Plus (fastest), Express, and Economy (parcels of 5 to 25 kg). Leopards doesn’t print international prices on its site. You get a rate from its international rate calculator by choosing export or import, the destination and the weight. Customs clearance normally takes 1 to 5 business days, according to Leopards’ FAQ.

How to get an international rate

  1. Open the calculator. Go to the international rate calculator on pk.leopardscourier.com.
  2. Choose the direction: Export (sending from Pakistan) or Import (bringing a shipment into Pakistan).
  3. Add the details: pick the destination and enter the weight in kilograms.
  4. Confirm the price. Compare the service rates it returns, then confirm at an Express Center or on 021 111 300 786.

Weigh and measure before you book. Leopards’ FAQ warns that wrong weight or dimensions can delay a shipment and lead to a price difference plus a possible extra fee. Rate tables on other websites aren’t official.

For domestic prices, see the Leopards courier rates guide.

Customs, duties and paperwork

Leopards’ FAQ says customs clearance normally takes 1 to 5 business days, and unusual or high-value items can be held longer. Other points from the same FAQ:

  • To check whether a shipment is dutiable, call 111 300 786 (021 111 300 786 from a mobile).
  • International shipments have no holiday delivery service.
  • Items Leopards won’t carry include currency, jewellery, bullion, antiques, liquor, precious stones, firearms, drugs, explosives, animals, plants, and hazardous or combustible materials.

Answer customs queries fast. If customs or Leopards asks for missing details, the shipper has 5 working days to send them. After that the shipment is treated as abandoned and destroyed, and the shipper still owes any duties and taxes.

Insurance and liability

Shipments aren’t insured unless the shipper asks for it at booking. For international shipments, Leopards’ FAQ says insured items are paid at market value if lost. Uninsured losses are capped at US$100 or the value on the airway bill, whichever is lower. For anything worth more than US$100, insurance is worth asking about.

Tracking an international shipment

Keep the airway bill or CN number from your booking slip. Leopards advertises full online tracking for its international Economy service. Expect the status to pause while the shipment sits in customs; that pause usually lasts the 1 to 5 business days mentioned above. If tracking stops for longer, call the Leopards helpline with your CN.
